Service Partner Overview
Open the service partner record, view its components. and make the record up to date.
Click on the Service Partner ID to open the Service Partner Record.
This will open the Service Partner Record. The progress bar is at the top, then the logo of the company and placeholder of the primary contact. If you assign a BDM, you will also have the photo of the BDM appear at this place. You will then see the details of the Service Partner along with side bar on the left and some control buttons on the right top corner. At the bottom you will be able to see some system information.
Assign a Business Development Manager (BDM)
A company can assign a BDM to its service partner. The BDM can be assigned to the entire company, or can be different person for each branch if the Service Partner company is widespread globally.
In the details section, hover on the BDM field. A pen icon to edit the field appears. Click on the pen icon.
Select the BDM from the dropdown menu. Click on the tick icon to confirm.
You will see the BDM’s photo appearing on the photo bar. This BDM is appearing for the entire company. You can assign different BDM for branches.
Watch the Service Partner Record
Watch this Service Partner to subscribe notification of changes and updates to the record.
Click on the binocular icon from the Control buttons. Click on ‘Start Watching’, to add yourself as the Watcher of this record.
All the watchers will be listed under “Watching this record”. The number of users watching the record is also displayed next to the binocular icon.
You can add additional watchers to this record by clicking on the ‘Add Watcher’. Type the username in the search bar or use the drop down to select the user you want to add.
Click on the Stop Watching at the top to stop yourself from watching this record. Performing this action will opt you out from any notification being triggered if the record changes.
To remove others, click on the cross icon. They will not be receiving notification for the record any longer.
Deleting a Service Partner Record

Click on delete icon on the Control Buttons to delete the record
A confirmation pop-up comes appears where you can click ‘Yes’ to confirm. Another pop-up appears to confirm the deletion.
Once deleted it will appear on the Deleted list with a strikethrough.
Open the deleted record by clicking on the ID. Click on the Restore button to undo deletion. The record will be moved to previous respective location.
